Yogi Berra had many fine qualities, but acting was not really one of them, as fans of General Hospital found out 60 years ago this week, when the Yankee great cameoed as Dr. Lawrence Berra, brain surgeon. Still, it made Mike and Bill wonder about the unexpected pop culture drop ins by ballplayers. Among their other favorites, Joe DiMaggio, Reggie Jackson, Johnny Bench, Wally Moon, and Ken Griffey Jr.
