This Week In Baseball History

Jan 2, 2019

In their efforts to manage payroll and jumpstart their franchises, 24 years ago, the Astros and Padres made one of the biggest trades in baseball history, both in terms of the quality of the players being exchanged and the number of players exchanged. Mike and Bill break down the trade and the players involved, and look at how, after a month of negotiations, the clubs managed to pull it off. Plus, happy birthday to Ethan Allen and Darren Daulton.
