This Week In Baseball History

Aug 4, 2023

As hard as it might be to believe in 2023 (he says with the sarcasm dripping in his voice) there once was a time when New York City was not particularly pleased with its two representatives in the American and National Leagues. In the early '90s, as Chris Donnelly (@cdonnelly81) chronicles in his book Road to Nowhere, both the Mets and the Yankees had hit the skids. But their paths from there diverged over the next few years, and Chris tells Mike and Bill all about how one team managed to recover while the other languished.

Plus, happy birthday to Rod Beck and Doug Rader!
