When they moved to Atlanta, the Braves decided to leave some things behind in Milwaukee. Their stadium. Their loyal fans. And the greatest pitcher in team history to that point, Warren Spahn. Like an old sofa, he was left on the sidewalk and picked up by the Mets 58 years ago this week, ending an incredible era of Braves baseball.
