There has never been a player like Ichiro Suzuki in baseball history. Singular in his approach offensively and defensively, and in his amazing ability to rack up hits. It's hard to remember that, 17 years ago, when he signed with the Seattle Mariners, there was a great deal of skepticism about Ichiro and whether the fuss was worth it.
